Starting in October we will be introducing "Pick the Winners", a new style of betting.  Pick the winner of each race for each night of racing, with payouts based on how many are correct!

Example: Hope puts up X amount of qc because it's her parent's anniversary and she sponsors a certain race in their name. Info should include name, treasurer's name, amt to sponsor, specific race # to sponsor, and reason for sponsoring that race.]

[ claiming race: one in which the horses carry a price tag for which another owner or trainer can buy the horse. The price will be set with the track steward, who handles all the deals. If no one "claims" the horse before the race goes off,  the original owner keeps him. If he is "claimed" before the race goes off, regardless of outcome, the new owner keeps the horse. Price is non-negotiable, no returns,  no takebacks after posted, and the sale is final. Owners should indicate in the race entry comments section which slotted horses they would like to put up for claim and the price. Regular rules concerning increasing stable size and transfers still apply.]
